While Scott is believer in the traditional form of preaching (he's been doing it since 1995), he equally believes in the power of the gospel being transmitted through music. Christian rock is a passion for Scott. He maintains that Christian music is one of the most powerful forms of preaching because it enables the believer to meditate on the Word of God all day.
An avid sports enthusiast, Scott has coached both the basketball and baseball teams at St. Louis Christian. He led the Soldiers basketball team to their first ever national tournament appearance in 05-06 and was named NCCAA central region coach of the year. Scott’s teams have served at area food banks and on mission trips to Guatemala and Mexico.
Sermons for The Merge can also be found on Scott's blog.
