OUR BELIEFS

We believe that Christians can work together in unity without agreeing exactly on every doctrinal point.  Still, we offer this brief summary of our statement of faith for those who wish to know what we teach.

The Bible:

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God without error in its original manuscripts.

It is our source of supreme revelation from God and, therefore, our infallible rule of faith and practice.

God: 

We believe in one God who has revealed Himself in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are all co-eternal.

Jesus Christ:

We believe in the incarnation, virgin birth, sinless life and substitutionary death of Jesus Christ who came into the world to reveal God the Father.  Jesus Christ was the Creator of all things and in Him dwelt all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.  He was both God and Man.  We further believe in Jesus Christ's bodily resurrection, His ascension into heaven, and in His future personal return in power and great glory, and in His everlasting kingdom and dominion.

The Creation and Fall of Mankind:

We believe that man was created by a direct act of God.  We further believe that mankind fell from the state in which he was first created into a state of sin and must be redeemed and delivered by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
